Hide a space

A 'hidden' space will still be visible to people with admin permissions; regular users won't be able to search, view or modify any of the space's work items.

You can't edit space permissions or roles on the Free plan for Jira Software or Jira Work Management, and you can't configure work-level security on any Free plan (including Jira Service Management). Learn how space permissions work in Free plans

Upgrade your plan to take advantage of Jira's powerful space permission management features. Learn how to upgrade your plan

  1. 新しい権限スキームを作成して、すべての権限を空のままにします。

    1. [設定] () > [作業項目] の順に選択します。

    2. Select Permission Schemes, then Add Permission Scheme.

  2. Associate the new permission scheme with the space that you wish to hide (see the section Associating a Permission Scheme with a Space):

    1. Select Settings (), then Spaces. Select the relevant space.

    2. Open the Space Summary administration page for that space. (See Configuring spaces.)

    3. In the Permissions section, select the name of the current scheme.

    4. Select the Actions menu and select Use a different scheme.

    5. On the 'Associate Permission Scheme to Space' page, which lists all available permission schemes, select the permission scheme you want to associate with the space.

    6. Select the Associate button to associate the space with the permission scheme.

If you’re a Jira admin or an organization admin, you’ll still be able to see hidden spaces. People without these admin permissions will not be able to see hidden spaces.

Organization admins and authorized Guard Detect admins can see space titles in audit logs and security alerts. They won’t be able to see space content, just the title.
