Use Visual SQL to build a chart

Visual SQL empowers you to query and transform your data to create charts and a couple of controls that are customized for your needs.

Start with a query

There are two query modes:

• Visual mode: A low-to-no code option if you’re less familiar with writing custom SQL queries, or you can use it to quickly create a base query that you can edit further.

• SQL mode: A SQL editor option if you prefer writing your own SQL queries or need to perform more complex actions than visual mode can support.

Transform the data

After you’ve got your initial query, you can then use more Visual SQL steps to transform and shape the data into the format that’s needed for your chart.
