To create a new dashboard from the home page:
Go to the home page by selecting the logo or Dashboards from the global navigation.
Select New dashboard. The “Create dashboard” pop-up will appear.
Select a dashboard template or start with a blank one. Read about dashboard templates.
If you select Use a template, select a data source and the template you’d like to use.

This will take you to your new blank dashboard where you can start building charts and customizing the dashboard to fit your needs.
If you’re building an ad hoc chart using the Create button from the global navigation and wish to save it to a new dashboard, you can:
Select Save to dashboard from the chart editor.
Select New dashboard.
In the Title field, provide a name for the dashboard.
Optionally provide a new or existing category to sort the dashboard into.
Select Save changes.
This will take you to your new blank dashboard where you can place your saved chart.
You can also create a new dashboard when copying or moving a chart from an existing dashboard.
Open the chart’s More actions () menu.
Select Copy or Move chart.
Select New dashboard.
In the Title field, provide a name for the dashboard.
Optionally provide a new or existing category to sort the dashboard into.
Select Save.
This will take you to your new blank dashboard where you can place the chart you copied or moved.
You can export a dashboard as a JSON file and then import that file into another Analytics workspace to create a copy of the exported dashboard.
To import a dashboard using a JSON file:
Select Create > Dashboard from the global navigation.
Select Import using JSON file.
Use the file selector or drag and drop the JSON file into the pop-up.
Select a data source to use for the dashboard.
Select Import.
You can only select one data source for the imported dashboard.
If the exported dashboard used multiple data sources of the same data source type, all the charts and controls on the imported dashboard will only use the data source you select when you import it.
You can’t import a dashboard that used multiple data sources of different data source types.
If the exported dashboard uses a single third-party data source, the schema names must be exactly the same between the data sources of the exported and imported dashboard.
Copying a dashboard is useful if you want to make changes to an existing dashboard but don’t want to apply those changes directly to it.
Dashboard copies do not stay in sync with the original dashboard.
To copy a dashboard:
Open the dashboard you wish to copy
Select Copy dashboard ().
Optional: Change the dashboard title, description, or category.
Select Copy.
This will then take you to the dashboard copy.
