Get started with Atlassian Analytics

Jira Align Enterprise Insights makes it possible for your organization to connect to your Jira Align data in Atlassian Analytics and third-party business intelligence solutions. Learn more about Jira Align Enterprise Insights.
You can connect your Enterprise Insights instances to Atlassian Analytics and blend your Jira Align data with your Atlassian Data Lake data to create charts and dashboards. This connection lets you create customized charts and dashboards that go beyond Jira Align's built-in reports.
Before your organization admin can connect your Enterprise Insights instances, you’ll need to work with the Jira Align support team to ensure your instances are associated with your Atlassian Analytics workspace.
Refer to the Jira Align support documentation for steps on how to complete the prerequisites.
Once you’ve completed the prerequisite steps, you can connect your Enterprise Insights instances to Atlassian Analytics.
You must be an organization admin to connect Enterprise Insights to Atlassian Analytics.
To add Enterprise Insights to Atlassian Analytics:
Select Data from the global navigation.
Select Add data source.
Select Jira Align Enterprise Insights.
If you have multiple Enterprise Insights instances, select the one you want to connect to.
Enter a display name for the data source. The display name is used throughout your Analytics workspace, and you can change it at any time.
Select Connect.
Once connected, you can use your Jira Align data to create charts and dashboards within Atlassian Analytics. We also provide a set of Enterprise Insight dashboard templates to help you get started.

Jira Align Enterprise Insights is an Azure SQL database. You’ll need to use Microsoft SQL Server syntax when writing SQL queries.
