“Organization overview” dashboard template
This dashboard provides many of the same agile metrics from the “Jira - Project Overview” dashboard, but it allows you to compare these metrics across other Jira projects in your instance. Additionally, the “Quick overview” section at the top provides organization-level metrics that can be beneficial for organization admins that are looking to find out more about their Jira instance.
Controls on the dashboard
Use the following controls to configure the dashboard:
Date range | “Calendar” control to filter charts to display data relating to work items completed during the selected date range. |

Project type | “Dropdown” control to filter charts for data relating specific project types. |
Project name | “Dropdown” control to filter charts for data relating specific projects. |
Defect work type | “Dropdown” control to filter the “Defect ratio per project” chart for specific defect work types. |

The number of team members (users) who have completed work within the selected date range

Detailed analysis
Allocation per project
Compares how work was distributed across the selected projects in the selected date range
You can filter this chart by the Date range control, project, and project type.
Net flow of work per project
Measures the team’s focus on committed work items
Committed work items are work items that transitioned to an “In progress” status category.
For each project, this chart calculates the net flow of work, which is the difference between the committed work items completed and the new work items committed during the selected date range.

Throughput per project
Measures the team’s performance by calculating the number of work items completed each week for each project
You can filter this chart by the Date range control, project, and project type.
Responsiveness per project
Measures the amount of time it takes to complete any given work item
You can filter this chart by the Date range control, project, and project type.
Defect ratio per project
For each project, the defect ratio is the percentage of defects completed out of the total number of work items completed in the selected date range. For this chart, a defect is a work item with a "Bug" work type.
You can use this to measure the quality improvement of a project over time.
