Get started with Atlassian Analytics
Learn how to add Atlassian Analytics to a site and understand what you need to query data and create charts.
This dashboard provides many of the same agile metrics from the “Jira - Project Overview” dashboard, but it allows you to compare these metrics across other Jira projects in your instance. Additionally, the “Quick overview” section at the top provides organization-level metrics that can be beneficial for organization admins that are looking to find out more about their Jira instance.
Use the following controls to configure the dashboard:
Current date interval | “Calendar” control to filter charts to display data relating to issues completed during the selected date range. |
---|---|
Project type | “Dropdown” control to filter charts for data relating specific project types. |
Project name | “Dropdown” control to filter charts for data relating specific projects. |
Defect issue type | “Dropdown” control to filter the “Defect ratio per project” chart for specific defect issue types. |

Defect ratio per project
For each project, the defect ratio is the percentage of defects completed out of the total number of issues completed in the selected date interval. For this chart, a defect is an issue with a "Bug" issue type.
You can use this to measure the quality improvement of a project over time.
You can filter this chart by the Current date interval control, project, project type, and issue type.
