“Reports for assets” dashboard template
This dashboard helps you understand your assets and configuration data. You can report on objects in your asset and configuration management, their related work items and projects, and the time dedicated to them.
Controls on this dashboard
Use the following controls to configure the dashboard:
Object schemas | “Dropdown” control to filter all charts based on the schema. |

Object type attribute | “Dropdown” control to filter all charts based on a particular attribute. |
Attribute value | “Dropdown” control to filter all charts based on attribute values. |
Object type attribute(s) | “Dropdown” control to filter the chart on the basis of multiple attributes. |
Project | “Dropdown” control to filter the chart based on a particular project type. This control filters the “Total unique work items linked to objects” chart. |
Work type | “Dropdown” control to filter the chart based on a particular work type. This control filters the “Total unique work items linked to objects” chart. |
Object label(s) | “Dropdown” control to filter the “Work items by object” chart by particular object labels. |
Date range | “Calendar” control to filter the chart with the object’s time of creation, last modification, and warranty. This control filters the “Number of objects created”, “Number of objects”, and “Object details” charts. |
Date bucket | “Calendar” control to filter the chart based on date intervals, such as weeks, months, and years. This control filters the “Number of objects created” and “Number of objects” charts. |
Object date type attributes | “Dropdown” control to filter the “Number of objects” and “Object details” chart by particular date type attributes. |
Date range | “Calendar” control to filter chart based on creation date. This control filters the “Attribute value over time” chart. |
Date bucket | “Calendar” control to filter the chart based on date intervals, such as weeks, months, and years. This control filters the “Attribute value of time” chart. |
Attribute value | “Dropdown” control to filter chart based on the numeric type attribute. This control filters the “Attribute value over time” chart. |
Display grouping | “Dropdown” control to filter chart based on aggregation type. This control filters the “Attribute value over time” chart. |

Number of objects by attribute
View how many objects have the specified attributes.
Object attribute details
View attribute values related to the selected object type attributes.
Objects by work items
Total unique work items linked to objects
Gives the ability to figure out the number of unique work items linked with some object.
Analysis of objects by work item
Work items linked to objects
See which objects are affected by which work items.
Work items by object
See all the work items for a specific object.
Objects over time
Use the selected date range to display a list of objects with their time of creation, last modification, and warranty.
Number of objects created
Shows the total number of objects created of the selected asset types over time
Object details
Use the selected date range to display a list of objects with their time of creation, last modification, and warranty.
Number of objects
Shows the total number of objects by date attributes of the selected asset types over time.

Attribute value over time
Analyze an attribute over a given period of time.
Compare object type attributes
See how different attributes of an object type compare to each other. Integer, Date, and Date Time attributes cannot be selected.
