Send notification emails from your own domain

Email notifications can be sent directly from Jira Service Management or from your own domain.

You must be a project admin to configure sender address for your service project to send notification emails.

To configure a custom email address for your service project to send notifications:

  1. From your service project, select Project settings, then Notifications, then Notification email.

  2. Select Edit next to the email address.

  3. From the Email drop-down, choose a custom email address, or use the default Jira cloud email.

  4. Alternatively, you may customise the email prefix if you choose to use the default Jira cloud email address.

  5. Select Save.

The custom email address will now be used as the sender address in all email notifications sent by this service project. Learn more about configuring Jira cloud to send emails on behalf of your domain.

The custom email addresses you can use for the service project must be added at admin.atlassian.com by your organization admins. Learn more about the steps for setting up custom email addresses.

This page is for team-managed projects

If the lower-left of your service project sidebar doesn’t say you're in a team-managed project, check out these company-managed project articles instead.
