Get started with Jira Service Management for admins
Your first stop for learning how to get started with Jira Service Management.
Groups are a great way to organize your request types into different categories. In the portal, your request types are shown vertically based on their groups.
You must be an admin to group request types.
To group request types:
From your service project, select Project settings, then Channels & self service, then Portal .
Click Customize your portal.
From your avatar dropdown, select Portal groups.
Choose from an existing group or select + Add group to create a new group.
Select a group and select + Add request type to choose a request type and add it to the group
Within a group, you can drag and drop request types as required to reorder them. You can also delete groups or remove request types from a group by dragging and dropping them to the left.
