Get started with Jira Service Management for admins
Your first stop for learning how to get started with Jira Service Management.
You can drag and drop your queues in the sidebar to order them, or edit a queue to change its name, requests filtered and columns that appear.
You need to be a project admin to edit a queue.
To edit a queue:
From your service project, go to Queues.
Select the queue you want to edit.
On top-right of your page, select > Edit queue.
You can assign the queue to one or more priority groups so it will appear within the groups in your queue.
Edit Name, Issues to show, Columns. Note that you will see a live preview of the updated issues that appear in this queue as you edit it.
Select Save to confirm your changes.

To edit a queue in the queue settings:
From your service project, go to Queues.
Select Queue settings.
On the Queues tab, find the queue you want to edit and select Edit queue.
Edit Name, Issues to show, Columns. Note that you will see a live preview of the updated issues that appear in this queue as you edit it.
Select Save to confirm your changes.
To manage the order of queues that appear on your project sidebar:
From your service project, go to Queues.
Select Queue settings.
On the Queues tab, select Reorder queues.
Drag and drop the queues to arrange them according to how you want them to appear on your project sidebar.
Select Done.
