Get started with Jira Service Management for admins
Your first stop for learning how to get started with Jira Service Management.
You may want to customize the workflow for the bug issue type to adapt to your organization’s needs. For example, you might want to add steps where someone needs to approve the request, or a step where someone should review that the request is done.
When you use the customer service management template, you get the bug issue type which you can customize.
You must be a Jira administrator to customize workflows.
To customize your workflow:
Go to Settings () > Issues > Workflows.
Find Jira Service Management default workflow, then select Edit.
Use the workflow editor to add or remove steps and transitions.
Changes to workflows affect all projects that use the workflow.
