Add your customers so they can raise requests

You don’t need to add customers to your service project right away, but it’s important to learn how to add them.

Both administrators and service project agents can add customers to a service project.

To add a customer:

  1. From your service project, go to Customers.

  2. Select Add customers.

  3. Enter the customer’s username or email. Separate customers by commas to add more than one at a time.

  4. Select Add.

You can set up Jira Service Management to allow customers to add themselves. Or, you can open your service project to Jira users. Learn more about customer permissions.
