Get started with Jira Service Management for admins
Your first stop for learning how to get started with Jira Service Management.
To use this feature, turn on Developer escalations on the Features page in Project settings.
To allow developers to work on the escalations, project admins must add them as collaborators to their service project.
To be a collaborator, the user should be added to the Service Desk Team role in your service project.
Once developers are added as collaborators, they can view and add internal comments to the escalation issues. Collaborators can also:
view comments and attachments
add attachments and delete their attachments
delete their comments
Collaborators can neither be assignees nor can transition issues in Jira Service Management.
