Get started with Jira Service Management for admins
Your first stop for learning how to get started with Jira Service Management.
If you’re a customer who shifted your operations from Opsgenie to Jira Service Management, adding new instances of this integration isn’t possible in Jira Service Management. You can only edit the integrations that originally shifted from Opsgenie.
Rigor creates alerts for failed checks. With Jira Service Management's Rigor Integration, Jira Service Management acts as a dispatcher for these alerts, determines the right people to notify based on on-call schedules– notifies them via email, text messages (SMS), phone calls, and iPhone & Android push notifications, and escalates alerts until the alert is acknowledged or closed.
When an alert is created on Rigor, an alert is created in Jira Service Management automatically through the integration.
To edit a Rigor integration in Jira Service Management, complete the following steps:
Go to your team’s operations page.
On the left navigation panel, select Integrations.
Search for your Rigor integration.
Edit the integration settings and rules as necessary.
Use the instructions in this section if applicable.
Create a new Alert Webhook by clicking here or by going to Admin > Alert Webhooks, clicking New and selecting Opsgenie.
In the Payload section for each Trigger, paste your API key copied while saving the Rigor Integration in Jira Service Management.
3. Click Create.
4. To use the webhook, edit any Check and select the webhook in the Notify dropdown.
Dynamic fields (custom priority, payload, url, and headers) are not available for this integration because of being API-based integration.
