Turn the new issue view on or off

From Mar 31, 2021, we’ll be moving all users on the old issue view in Jira Cloud products (Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Jira Core) to the new issue view — which means you won’t be able to switch back to the old view anymore.

You can toggle the new view on or off for company-managed projects for now.

The new issue view is permanently on for all business boards and team-managed software projects, so you can’t turn it off for those.

To turn the new issue view on or off:

  1. Select Your profile and settings () > Personal settings.

  2. Toggle the switch for the New Jira issue view.
