We’re trialing team-managed projects in Jira Work Management. Some users may see the option to create a team-managed project.

How to create, edit, save, and delete a form

Create a form

Only project admins can create a form.

Forms can be created directly from your Jira Work Management project. You can have one form per project.

To create a form:

  1. Select Forms from the left navigation.

  2. Select Create a new form.

  3. Your form is now ready to edit, share, or use.

  4. Select Preview to see a preview of how your form will look.

Edit a form

Only project admins can edit a form.

To edit a form:

  1. Select Forms from the left navigation.

  2. Drag the fields to be in the order you’d like for your form.

  3. Customize the text in the field by selecting the field label.

  4. Your form is now ready to edit, share, or use.

  5. Select Preview to see a preview of how your form will look.

Save a form

All changes you make to your form are automatically saved for the next time you return.

Delete a form

You’re currently unable to delete a form. You can edit the form, but you can’t delete it.

Preview your form

Before you share your form, you can preview it to make sure you’ve captured all the right information.

To preview your form:

  1. Select Forms from the left navigation.

  2. On the top-right, select Preview to see how your form will look.
