• Assess & plan Marketplace app migration early
  Avoid assessing and planning Marketplace app data migration late in your migration journey, as this can result in unexpected delays and challenges in your overall migration. If your Marketplace app data is critical and required in cloud, you should plan your app migration early, along side your core Jira product migration.

• Communicate directly and raise a support ticket with Xblend for your migration
  Contact and establish a communication channel with Xblend (the Marketplace Partner)
  Marketplace Partners have the most knowledge about their Marketplace app, and are better prepared to support your migration when they’re informed early about your migration plans, degree of data migration complexity and your specific requirements for Cloud.

• Consider engaging a Solution Partner
  It is recommended that you engage a Solution Partner to assess, plan and migrate your Marketplace app data. Solution Partners generally have extensive experience migrating customer data to cloud, and can help you plan ahead, foresee any risks, and offer the right strategies and solutions for migration.

• Assess your migration complexity
  Expect a higher degree of migration complexity if you have large Data Center instances, or a highly customized instance.

• Check for Marketplace Partner updates
  You should check for scheduled maintenance or incidents on the Marketplace Partner’s platform that can impact your Marketplace app migration.

Before you begin, it’s important that you carefully assess and plan the Marketplace app migration. This section discusses things you should consider for the app migration.

アプリの移行時間を概算する

移行時間はデータのサイズと複雑さに直接依存するため、移行にかかる時間を常に正確に判断できるとは限りません。

ただし、スケジュールを作成する前にテスト移行を実施して移行時間を見積もることはできます。これにより、最終的な本番環境の移行にかかる時間を概算でき、発生する可能性のある問題を検出することもできます。

アプリのデータ サイズの評価

Jira Cloud Migration Assistant を使用してインスタンスで評価を実行し、X-Ray アプリ データの規模を決定してください。評価結果をアトラシアンと共有して、移行戦略や計画に役立てることができます。

アプリ データの縮小 (デスケーリング)

特にテスト移行で移行に長時間がかかる場合は、将来の移行をスピードアップするための戦略を適用できます。

  • その場合は

• Clean up Jira data prior to migration. Marketplace app data may not be stored entirely on the Jira database. Cleaning up Jira data allows you to decrease the amount of app data you need to migrate.

• Ensure that all linked projects are migrated in the same migration plan. Before you run a migration, ensure that all the projects that have links to ‘Xray Test Management for Jira’ are included in a single migration plan. Xblend’s migration documentation provides more information about using pre-migration checks to ensure all linked projects are included in the migration.

After you have started running the migration, use progress logs of Jira Cloud Migration Assistant to monitor this app’s migration.

停滞しているように見える移行のブロック解除

「Xray Test Management for Jira」の移行が停滞しているように見える場合は、移行に予想以上に時間がかかっている可能性があります。

このようなシナリオでは、次のようにしてください。

• Xblend に連絡して、移行が想定どおりに進んでいることを確認してください。
