Get started with System Health

System Health is available to customers in a beta program.

Here’s an overview of the prerequisites you need to meet to start using System Health as well as a quick look around the interface.

To use System Health, you need:

  • Organization administrator permissions in Atlassian Cloud

  • At least one Atlassian cloud app

Access System Health

To access System Health:

  1. Go to admin.atlassian.com and select your organization.

  2. Go to Insights > System Health.

System Health features

The System Health screen shows the overall status of your cloud apps. It displays ongoing incidents and whether they affect you.

Incident banner

The banner on the page indicates one of three statuses:

  1. All apps are Operational.

  2. There is an ongoing Advisory for one or more apps (not specific to your sites).

  3. There is an active incident with Confirmed impact on one or more of your sites.

Atlassian apps

A list of Atlassian apps in your organization will be displayed with their current status. The apps are organized according to the level of attention they require.

The app can have one of three statuses:

  • Confirmed impact: We detected an incident that impacted one or more of your app instances. We will provide the number of impacting incidents and affected app instances in this case.

  • Advisory: We detected an incident affecting the app, but don’t have enough signals to confirm its impact on your sites. We provide the number of ongoing incidents in this case.

  • Operational: The product is up and running.

A single incident may affect several apps, so multiple affected apps don’t always mean multiple incidents.

App status overview

Select each app to view its status overview. The status overview screen shows detailed status information for a specific Atlassian cloud app, clearly highlighting any ongoing incidents that impact your organization.

The Ongoing incidents section shows all active incidents related to the app, along with impact data (if available) and severity.

The Impact details section gives you a view of specific sites and experiences (underlying pieces of functionality, like “Viewing content” in Jira) and how they’re impacted by incidents. You can search to filter by specific instances or experiences related to a specific app.

App incident history

In the App status overview screen, select View incident history to see the incident history of an app over the past 90 days. You can also view the impact, ID, status, and other key information about each listed incident.

Single incident history

Select an incident to see its detailed history, including all updates, their respective statuses, incident ID, and impact details.

Incident notification settings

To enable email notifications about incidents impacting your organization, select Incident notification settings from the Systems Health dashboard. More about setting up incident notifications
