Control what your team sees in the project view navigation. Display the tabs that are most useful and important to the team, and remove what’s not. Any changes that are made to the navigation will be visible for everyone who has access to the business project.
Project admins can customize the following:
Set the default view for the project
Remove a tab from the navigation
Add a tab back to the navigation if it has been removed
Reorder the tabs
Your default view will be the tab that all members in your business project will land on when they open the business project. You can only set the Summary, Board, List, Calendar, or Timeline as the default for your business project.
To set the default view for your project:
Hover your cursor over the tab you want to set as your default
Select the more actions menu
Select Set as default.
You’re unable to hide a tab that has been set as the default. A project must always have a default tab. Set another tab as the default if you don’t want it to appear in the navigation for your business project.
You’re unable to hide the List and Apps tab.
To hide a view/tab from your project view navigation, you can:
Hover your cursor over the view/tab you want to hide
Select the more actions menu
Select Hide.
To add a tab back to the navigation in your business project:
Select the plus icon + in your project view navigation
Choose which tab you want to add to your project view navigation.
There are two ways you can reorder the tabs in your navigation:
The first way is by dragging your project’s tabs in the order that you desire.
The second way is by:
Select the more actions menu
Select either Move tab left or Move tab right, and your tab will move one space over when you select it.
