Migrate Statuspage to use Atlassian accounts
Learn everything you need to know to migrate you and your team to Atlassian accounts.
1. Log in to your Datadog account.
2. Navigate to Integrations > APIs.
3. Register a new application and fill in the required fields.
4. Copy your application key and API key.
5. Log in to your Statuspage account
6. Navigate to System metrics > Linked accounts.
7. Select Datadog and paste in your keys.
8. Click Link account.
1. Navigate to Your page > System metrics.
2. Click Add a metric.
3. Select Datadog from the Data source dropdown.
If a subscriber hasn't set up their subscription preferences they'll automatically be subscribed to any new components/system metrics.
If a subscriber has already changed their subscription preferences, they will not automatically be added to new components/system metrics. You will need to edit the audience-specific group or user under Audience to give them access to the new component/system metric.
1. Navigate to your selected dashboard.
2. Click Edit this graph for the metric you would like to show.
3. Click on JSON and copy what is contained in the "q" field of the JSON payload.
Note: We don't support the full JSON payload so please make sure you're providing a Datadog query. Basically, what is contained in the "q" field of the JSON payload is what should be entered into our integration.
4. Paste the query into the Statuspage modal and enter a display name and display suffix.
5. Edit your metric to your satisfaction and make sure to set it to visible on your page.
1. Navigate to Your page > System metrics.
2. Click the Advanced options tab.
3. Edit the metric and its attributes such as suffix, min and max values for the y-axis, and the metric description. By default, your metric is hidden and will not show up on your status page.
4. Click Update Metrics display when you're satisfied with the changes to make them visible to your page viewers.
