If your team needs more than just the default system dashboard, you can create custom dashboards to track work with a different set of gadgets or to be shared as a wallboard slideshow with certain teams.
Choose Dashboards > Create dashboard.
Enter the details for the dashboard as needed.
Note that when you create a custom dashboard, you may not find the default system dashboard from the Dashboards menu in the header anymore. This is because only dashboards marked as favorite show up in the Dashboards menu.
Choose Dashboards > View all dashboards.
Find the dashboard you want to edit and select More () > Rename and share.
Edit the details of the dashboard as needed.
You can manually refresh a dashboard by reloading the page or selecting the Refresh button. If you want a dashboard to refresh automatically, you can configure it by setting up its frequency in minutes.
To configure the automatic refresh for a dashboard:
Choose Dashboards > View all dashboards.
Find the dashboard you want to edit and select More ().
Select Configure automatic refresh.
Enter the frequency of refresh you’d like in minutes.
Select Save.
Copying a custom dashboard is useful if you want to create a new dashboard that's based on the details of an existing dashboard.
Choose Dashboards > View all dashboards.
Find the dashboard you want to copy and select More () > Copy dashboard.
Update the details of the copied dashboard as necessary.
The copied dashboard starts from the source dashboard that you're copying it from.
Choose Dashboards > View all dashboards.
Find the dashboard you want to delete and select More () > Delete dashboard.
Choose Dashboards > View all dashboards.
Locate the dashboard and click the star icon for it.
Starred dashboards appear at the top of the Starred and recent menu in the navigation bar.
Choose Dashboards > View all dashboards.
Select the dashboard you want to edit.
Click Edit.
Click Add gadget.
To view all available gadgets, click Load all gadgets.
Click Add gadget for the gadget you want to add.
Choose Dashboards > View all dashboards.
Select the dashboard you want to edit.
Click Edit.
Click Edit Layout.
Select a layout for your dashboard.
Choose Dashboards > View all dashboards.
Select the dashboard you want to view as a wallboard.
Select More () > View as a wallboard.
You can only set up and view a wallboard slideshow if you already have multiple custom dashboards set up. After creating custom dashboards, to set up a wallboard slideshow of your dashboards:
Choose Dashboards > View all dashboards.
From the sidebar, select the dashboard you want to view as a wallboard.
Select the More menu () > Set Up Wallboard Slideshow.
In the Setup Wallboard Slideshow window, configure the settings for your wallboard slideshow as needed, and then click Done.
To view the wallboard slideshow of your dashboards, select More () > View Wallboard Slideshow.
