    Prepare users for the migration

Prepare your users by reviewing email domains, resolving duplicate group names, and making sure you have enough licenses in cloud.

    • Review email domains before the migration

Mark email domains found in your user directory as trusted to avoid giving access to suspicious domains.

    • Resolve duplicate group names to avoid permission escalation

Rename your groups to make them unique. This helps you avoid granting users incorrect permissions by accident.

    • Check if you have enough cloud licenses for users

Activate your Cloud migration trial and check if your cloud subscription allows you to migrate all of your users.
