Review findings
We’re gradually transitioning Guard Detect into Atlassian Administration. We’ll support Guard Detect until the Atlassian Administration experience includes all the same features (and new ones!).
The Findings page in Atlassian Administration is the first step in the transition.
Guard creates a finding when potentially sensitive data is detected across your organization. The finding contains the detected string, the confidence in the detected string, surrounding contextual information, where it was detected, and when it was last detected.
The Findings page in Atlassian Administration shows all matches for sensitive data by aggregating results from both real-time monitoring and full-site content scans.
If you’re not an organization admin, you can view alerts in Guard Detect alerts list, or through a third party integration. How to view an alert

View the list of findings
Findings enable you to view and manage all potential sensitive data in one place. The information provided in each finding provides detailed information so you can decide what action, if any, needs to be taken.
Findings are listed in chronological order. You can use the filters to narrow the results.
Each finding remains in the list until the detected content exists.
To view a finding:
移動 アトラシアンの管理。組織が複数ある場合は、対象の組織を選択します。
Select Security, then Data protection, then Findings.
If required, use the filters to pinpoint the finding you’re interested in.
Select the finding you want to view.
You can export the entire list of findings as a CSV file.
Finding details
Each finding in the dashboard displays some useful, at-a-glance information, described in the following table.
列名 | 説明 |
|---|---|
Snippet ID | An identifier for each finding. A snippet ID will be reused when there’s more than one finding for the same detected content. The identifier remains consistent across the dashboard, CSV exports, and audit logs. You can use this ID to sort all instances of the same sensitive string so that you can bulk manage them. When you select the Snippet ID, a side panel will appear, displaying additional information about the finding. |
Detection type | The name of the detection type associated with the finding. When there is more than one instance of a detection type in a content object, you will see a finding for each instance of that detection type. When potentially sensitive data is detected in different fields of a content object (whether it’s the same or different data), you will see a finding for each field detection, with its detection type shown. |
オブジェクト | The name of the content object associated with the finding. For example, a Confluence page name, or a Jira work item name. |
カテゴリー | The detection category (Financial, Credentials, Identity, Health, or Custom) associated with the finding. |
Detection method | Either near-real-time (found as part of ongoing scans) or full site scan (found from a content scan). |
Confidence | A rating (high, medium, or low) that indicates the certainty of the detected content matching the detection type. |
アプリ | The Atlassian app associated with the finding. Currently, this includes Confluence and Jira. |
Date detected | The date and time that the finding was triggered. |
More actions (•••) | The More actions (•••) menu contains additional actions you can take from the dashboard, such as redacting content, or marking the finding as a false positive. |
