Investigate and act on findings
We’re gradually transitioning Guard Detect into Atlassian Administration. We’ll support Guard Detect until the Atlassian Administration experience includes all the same features (and new ones!).
The Findings page in Atlassian Administration is the first step in the transition.
A finding is an individual instance of potentially sensitive data detected in your Confluence or Jira content. Findings are created from Guard content scanning detections, generated through ongoing scanning when content is created or updated, or from a content scan that inspects all existing data across your organization.
How you respond to findings will depend on your organization's processes and requirements. You may want to use redaction to ensure detected data is removed efficiently.
