Manage editors for your automation flows

When configuring an automation flow, you have the option to set who can edit your flow. This can be helpful when you need to delegate the task of editing and updating your automation flow to a teammate.

There are three different editing permissions available for your automation flow:

  • Private: Only the flow owner can edit the flow.

  • 特定の管理者: Jira 自動化と Confluence 自動化で、任意の数のスペース管理者に編集権限を付与します。

    • When you select this option, the resulting user picker will show all users. Make sure you only select space admins, because any non-admins you select still won’t be able to edit your flow.

  • All admins: Allow all admins to edit the flow. This means all admins in the space, all app admins for Jira and/or Confluence, and all site admins.

How flow owners differ from flow editors

Both flow editors and the flow owner can:

  • Add, remove, and edit flow steps.

  • Change the flow actor.

  • Rename and delete the flow.

Flow owners can do the following, but flow editors can’t:

  • Change the flow owner to another person.

  • Edit flow permissions and add/remove flow editors.
