Delete an object schema

To delete an object schema, you need to be logged in as a Jira admin. This will permanently delete the object schema – along with all object types that are children of this schema.

From Assets:

1. Open the Object schemas list view.

2. Select Assets in the top navigation bar.

3. Select Settings next to the schema you want to delete.

4. Under the General tab, select Delete Schema.

5. Follow the instructions and enter the schema name.

6. Select Delete Schema.

From within an object schema:

1. Select Object schema in the top right and select Settings in the dropdown.

2. Under the General tab, select Delete schema.

3. Follow the instructions and enter the schema name.

4. Select Delete schema.
