Create tokens for Assets Data Manager
Data Manager is included in all Service Collection Premium and Enterprise plans.
Before you can access Data Manager, generate a token, or run the Adapters client, you must initialize Data Manager by navigating to the Data Manager screen at least once.
Generate a new Adapters client token or Cleanse and Import client token
This task requires Asset app admin permissions.
Tokens allow the clients to securely transfer data into Assets.
Generate an Adapters client token
From the app switcher, select Assets.
Select Assets settings.
Select Data Manager in the sidebar.
Under Tokens, select Generate a token.
In Label, enter a name for the token.
In Token type, select Adapters client token.
In Expiry, choose the token lifetime (default is 3 months).
Select Next.
Copy the token and store it securely. It will not be shown again.
Generate a Cleanse and Import client token
From the app switcher, select Assets.
Select Assets settings.
Select Data Manager in the sidebar.
Under Tokens, select Generate a token.
In Label, enter a name for the token.
In Token type, select Cleanse and Import client token.
In Expiry, choose the token lifetime (default is 3 months).
Select Next.
Copy the token and store it securely.
