Change the name or description of an object schema

To change the name or description of an object schema, you must be logged in as a Jira admin or have Object Schema Manager permissions.

There are two ways to change the name or description of an object schema.

From Assets: 

1. Open the Object schemas list view.

2. Select Settings next to the schema you want to edit.

3. Under the General tab, select the field next to Name or Description to edit.

From within an object schema:

1. Select Object schema in the top right and select Settings in the dropdown.

2. Under the General tab, select the field next to Name or Description to edit.
