Data Manager - Advanced Search Group

An Advanced Search Group is used to add several conditions against the same field.

Let’s take an example.

Say that you want to group Linux and Unix into one view. To do this, you would add a Group and include: where: Platform = Unix OR Platform = Linux

Using Advanced Search Group has an advantage over Advanced Search. In Advanced Search, an object is only matched against the first Platform variable. By putting Unix and Linux into a Group, the check will be against both Platform variables.
