Mobile app policies (also known as Mobile Application Management – or MAM) are available for both managed and external users as part of an Atlassian Guard Standard (formerly known as Atlassian Access) subscription.

You can set up different security policies to meet the security needs of specific Atlassian mobile apps.
A mobile app policy allows you to apply security settings to all or some mobile apps at a time. You can configure security controls for Jira Cloud, Confluence Cloud, and Opsgenie mobile apps.

When you set up a mobile app policy, users and devices in the policy must meet security requirements to use mobile apps in your organization.

Mobile app policies are different from mobile device management in these ways:

• Your organization doesn’t need additional software – everything is configured in admin.atlassian.com

• Users don’t need to download device management software on their mobile devices
