Data Manager clients

The Data Manager clients are two locally-installed middleware clients that are available on the Atlassian Marketplace. They operate securely and locally behind your firewall, allowing you to connect Data Manager directly to your tools, databases, and files.

• The Adapters client is required to fetch a data source. Fetching a data source moves data from your tools, databases, and files into Data Manager.

• The cleanse and import client is recommended to cleanse and merge data from your data sources using the command line. In addition, it creates snapshots for your trendline or comparison grid charts.

You may also use any scheduling tool with either of these clients, allowing you to fetch, cleanse, and merge data asynchronously.
