属性マッピング
Data Manager is included in all Service Collection Premium and Enterprise plans.
Attribute mapping (or object attribute mapping) is the process of mapping a value in the staged data of a data source into an attribute within an object. This is distinct from column mapping, which is the process of mapping a column in a raw data source into a staged data value.
Data sources must be mapped before they can be cleansed or merged. To simplify this process, Data Manager now uses a prioritized logic to automatically suggest and apply attribute mappings.
How automatic mapping works
When you open the attribute mapping screen for a data source, Data Manager attempts to automatically map fields based on the following priority order. While Data Manager provides these automatic options, you always retain full control over the final configuration :
1. Default attribute mapping (Highest Priority)
If a Default Attribute Mapping has been previously saved for this specific data source, Data Manager will prioritize this above all else.
When to use: Use this when you have specific business requirements or custom attributes.
2. Atlassian vendor mapping
If no user-defined default exists, Data Manager applies Atlassian’s built-in knowledge of common vendor products.
3. Name matching (Fallback)
If neither a user default nor a vendor-specific mapping is available, Data Manager performs a literal name match.
What it is: The system looks for exact or near-exact matches between the staged data column names and the Assets object attribute names.
When to use: This serves as a baseline to save time on manual entry for custom or less common data sources
