Configuring data sources priorities
Data Manager is included in all Service Collection Premium and Enterprise plans.
This task requires Data Manager and Adapter admin permissions.
A Data source is the configuration set-up for each tool. Each data source should be retrieved in a priority order based on the type of data present. Data source priority determines which source is preferred when multiple sources provide values for the same attribute. It is recommended that discovery try data sources have the highest priority through to those that are manually maintained having the lowest priority.
As a data source is added, it is automatically assigned the next priority order. The order can be adjusted at any time.
Edit the priority of Data sources
From the sidebar, select Assets.
In Data Manager, select Object classes.
Select the ellipses (…) button beside the Object classes heading.
From Data Manager settings, select Data source priorities.
Adjust, inline, the Priority for any data source. :tip: Increment priorities by 10, so that you can easily adjust priority by adding a priority between those values.
