Add a data source
Data Manager is included in all Service Collection Premium and Enterprise plans.
A data source is a configuration in Data Manager that defines how data is brought from a source (file, database, or tool) into Data Manager.
To add a data source:
From the app switcher, select Assets.
Select Data Manager in the sidebar.
Select Object classes in the left menu. This opens the Object classes screen.
For the object class you want to add a data source for select the Show data sources button and click + Add (or Add data source where no data sources exists).
Select the data source you want to connect. Each data source is designed for a specific type of source data (for example, Flat File, SQL & ODBC, Schema, or a specific product data source using API or PowerShell).
Complete all required (
*) fields before clicking Configure your data source.
