Configure autofill dates
When you have linked delivery tickets to your ideas, you can track the delivery progress using a date field. In Jira Product Discovery, you can autofill the latest delivery dates from Atlas projects or linked delivery tickets from Jira Software.
Before you begin
Ensure you have added and filled at least one date field in your Jira Software ticket.
Creators can create and edit fields.
Steps
To autofill dates from your linked delivery tickets:
Go to your Jira Product Discovery project, select Fields to open your field list, hover over a date field, and then select . You can also create a new date field.
Enable Autofill dates, then select Date source, which can be either Atlas project or Linked delivery tickets.
For linked delivery tickets, select the options you want from the Date field and Calculation by dropdowns.
Optionally, you can select Add a rule to display color and emojis when the date is approaching or overdue.
Once autofill dates are configured, you can hover over a date in your view to see whether the calculation is based on latest or earliest date.
