Manage event exclusions from your audit log

Who can do this?
Role: Organization admin
Atlassian Cloud: Enterprise plan for Jira, Confluence or Jira Service Management, or Atlassian Guard Premium.
Atlassian Government Cloud: Not available

Event exclusion helps you control which events Atlassian stores for your organization. Stored events are:

  • displayed in your organization’s audit log

  • made accessible through the audit log API

  • available to send to third-party tools via webhooks.

When you exclude certain events, they will stop being stored by Atlassian, Any historical events will still be available. For example, events that were logged before you excluded them will still appear in your audit log history.

If you change your mind, you can change your event exclusion settings and start storing events once more. Any events that occurred during the exclusion period will remain unavailable because they were not being stored during that time.

To reduce verbose logs, events for third-party app API requests in Confluence and Jira are excluded by default. You can change this at any time.

To manage event exclusion:

  1. 移動 [アトラシアンの管理] に移動します。組織が複数ある場合は、対象の組織を選択します。

  3. Select Settings in the top right corner.

  4. Select the Event Exclusion tab.

  5. For each event type, use the Action toggle to start or stop storing events.

  6. When the warning message appears, confirm your choice.
