Edit an external user security policy

Who can do this?
Role: Organization admin
Atlassian Cloud: Atlassian Guard Standard
Atlassian Government Cloud: Not available

You can update the email domains or security settings for an existing external user security policy. Updates can take a few minutes to be applied.

Edit a non-default policy

You can update the email domains and security settings for a non-default external user security policy.

To edit a non-default policy:

  1. 移動 Atlassian Administration. Select your organization if you have more than one.

  2. Select Security > User security > External users.

  3. Select the policy you want to edit.

  4. Edit email domains or security settings as needed.

  5. [更新] を選択して変更を保存します。

Domains can only be assigned to one policy at a time. If you try to add a domain that is already assigned to another policy, you will need to remove it from the other policy first.

Edit the default policy

You can update the security settings for the default external user security policy.

To edit the default policy:

  1. 移動 Atlassian Administration. Select your organization if you have more than one.

  2. Select Security > User security > External users.

  3. Select the Default policy.

  4. Edit the security settings as needed.

  5. [更新] を選択して変更を保存します。

If you have not created any additional policies, the default policy may appear as External user policy. Once you create a new policy, it will be renamed to Default policy.
