データ セキュリティ ポリシーとは

A data security policy helps you keep your organization’s data secure. It enables you to govern how users, Marketplace and custom apps, and people outside of your organization can interact with content such as Confluence pages and Jira work items.

Instead of relying on user and Marketplace app permissions, a data security policy leverages controls to allow or block content actions based on content-specific attributes, such as where the content is located, or what classification level has been assigned to it.

How to maintain strong security for your organization

When you access your organization’s data security policy, you see a high-level view of what controls are turned on and off, and where they are used. These controls give you the option to entirely turn off certain capabilities, or to be more granular in configuring them. If you wish to change these settings or your existing organization’s settings, you can adjust the controls to suit your security needs at any time. Typically, you can use a control to block an action entirely, or enable it for only the apps, spaces or content within specific classification levels that you choose.

ポリシーには何が含まれていますか?

For each policy, you’ll see columns for:

  • Control: A mechanism within a policy that enforces a protective action.

  • Default configuration: Shows whether the control is blocked or allowed for the Atlassian apps in your organization, excluding any overrides.

  • Applies to: Displays which Atlassian apps the default configuration applies to.

  • Overrides: Shows the total number of overrides applied to the control.

  • Updated by: Shows the name of the admin who last updated the policy.

  • Actions: Shows actions you can take, such as viewing the control details, or viewing the audit log activities associated with the policy.

:

  • Enabling policies to prevent anonymous access may restrict licensed users who are not part of any space group in Confluence or Jira, resulting in access denial. You can avoid this by ensuring all users are added to user groups with required permissions.

  • Data export restrictions may block users from previewing or downloading files such as PDFs.

サブスクリプションをキャンセルしたらどうなりますか?

Most data security policy controls and coverage types require an Atlassian Guard subscription.

If you cancel your subscription, your existing policies will still be enforced, but any rules or coverage that require Atlassian Guard Standard can’t be edited or changed until you restart your subscription.

If your policy blocks Marketplace and custom app access to data for selected app spaces, you’ll have the option to switch to block all Marketplace and custom apps, which does not require an Atlassian Guard subscription.
