Jira Product Discovery is currently in beta
Jira Product Discovery is part of our Point A program, where we take great ideas and turn them into new Atlassian products. While the product is in beta, everyone is subscribed to the free version. We’ll let you know of any pricing changes in advance.
The Jira Product Discovery Chrome extension lets you capture data from user interview notes such as highlights of words and sentences, screenshots, or any website information and send it into insights.
Before you begin
You need to have the Jira Product Discovery Chrome extension.
On a website, highlight a piece of information you want to add to an idea and right-click your mouse.
Select Add to idea. Every time you do this, the Chrome extension icon displays a number corresponding to the number of items you’ve got to send to an idea. You can bulk edit them later.
When you are ready to send the information to the idea, click the extension icon in the navigation bar to open the editor.
Select the project and idea where you want to add the items.
You can add several items to an idea but if you prefer you can remove some, under “Add to idea”, by selecting the cross.
Finally, you can capture screenshots by clicking the camera icon at the bottom of the editor.
Complete the fields and click Add.
