Validate object attributes in quick object creation

Attributes validation in quick object creation enforces requirements such as text, numerical information, or references to other objects when creating new objects from the Create object screen in Assets. To enable it, you must be logged in as an Assets admin with Jira or Jira Service Management access or have Object schema manager permissions.
Enable quick creation of referenced objects to create and reference other objects in one step from the Create object screen.
To enable the validation setting:
From the object schema list view
From the app switcher, select Assets
Select Object schemas.
If you’re not in list view, select the List view icon.
Select Schema settings next to the relevant schema.
Under the General tab, select Validate object attributes in quick object creation.
From within an object schema
From the app switcher, select Assets
Select an object schema.
Select in the top-right, then Settings in the dropdown.
Under the General tab, select Validate object attributes in quick object creation.
