Change the name or description of an object type
Assets in Jira Service Management is a Premium and Enterprise only feature. Learn more about Assets.
To change the name or description of an object type, you must be logged in as a Jira admin or have Object Schema Manager permissions.
Select Assets in the top navigation bar.
Select an object schema from the list.
Select an object type.
Select to the right of the object type, or select from the top-right.
Select Configure object type.
Under the General tab, select the field next to Name, Icon or Description to edit.
