Change the name or description of an object type
Assets is included with Service Collection Paid plans (Standard, Premium, and Enterprise). What Assets is and how it works.
To change the name or description of an object type in Assets, you must be logged in as an Assets admin with Jira or Jira Service Management access, and have Object Schema Manager permissions.
Go to the app switcher and select Assets.
From your sidebar, select Schemas.
Select an object schema from the list.
Select an object type.
Select to the right of the object type, or select from the top-right.
Select Configure object type.
Under the General tab, select the field next to Name, Icon or Description to edit.
