Move an issue to another project using automation
Jira Cloud doesn't currently support using automation to move issues. The below process suggests an alternative method, by cloning an issue and deleting the original.
This method only works when moving issues from a company-managed project to another company-managed project.
We don’t recommend using this method to move issues to or from team-managed projects.
To move an issue using automation:
Add a Clone issue action to your rule and select the project you want to move the issue to.
Add a Delete issue action to delete the original issue.
While many of your existing field values will be retained, some items, such as attachments, will not be cloned with the issue.
