Automatically clone an issue when done
Save time creating the same issue multiple times with automated cloning. Cloning creates a duplicate of an issue, copying over most of the information.
Only Jira and project admins can configure automation rules.
Once you turn on this rule
When you transition the issue to any status in a done status category, we’ll automatically clone the issue to the same project.
Once the new issue is cloned and created, it inherits the automation rule which will be turned on automatically. This means if you move this new issue to any done status, the issue will be cloned.
All fields will be copied to the newly cloned issue, except for: Attachments, start date, due date, links and child issues.
Set an issue to clone automatically
Open the issue you want to duplicate automatically.
Select Actions to open the automations menu.

Select the switch to turn it on.
Stop an issue from cloning automatically
