Delete a status

Assets in Jira Service Management is a Premium and Enterprise only feature. Learn more about Assets

 

To delete a status that has been created at a configuration level in Assets, you need to be logged in as a Jira admin.

To delete statuses to an individual schema, you must also have Object Schema Manager permissions.

Delete statuses at a configuration level

For your service project:

  1. Go to Assets and select Configure.

  2. Under the Statuses tab, select Delete on the status you want to remove.

  3. In the popup window, select Delete.

Delete a status for an individual schema

  1. Go to Assets and select an object schema.

  2. Select Schema configuration.

  3. Under the Statuses tab, select Delete on the status you want to remove.

  4. In the popup window, select Delete.

Deleting a status can't be undone.
