Data Manager - Cleanse
Assets Data Manager for Jira Service Management Cloud is currently rolling out in Open Beta and will be available to all Premium + Enterprise sites by end of October 2024.
The Cleanse operation filters duplicate, erroneous, or unneeded information from your staged data. Cleansing is done by running a number of cleansing rules against the staged data.
Cleansing performs the following operations on your data source, in sequence:
Validation - this step is to ensure that the table in the staging database is valid.
Table Preparation - the table is prepared for cleansing functions to be run.
Cleansing rules - for each rule you have defined in Cleanse and Import > Cleansing rules, a row will appear here showing the results of the cleansing rule and the runtime.
Post-Run - the table is prepared for finalisation.
Finalise - changes are saved to the underlying database.
Data must be mapped before it can be Cleansed or Imported.
