Data Manager - Adapter
Assets Data Manager for Jira Service Management Cloud is currently rolling out in Open Beta and will be available to all Premium + Enterprise sites by end of October 2024.
The Adapters section in Data Manager is where you can create, modify, and run jobs that are built around adapters. You must have the role of an Adapters Administrator to see the Adapters section in Data Manager. You can also view a dashboard of current adapters, and view a list of jobs that have been run in the past.
Adapters connects data from external data sources to Data Manager - flat files sources like CSV, database sources like SQL, and API-based sources to third-party systems.
When you create a new job, you first select an adapter to create a job. After that job is configured, you can run that job to bring data into Data Manager.
