A suffix is a piece of text that is automatically added at the end of a value. When you have an attribute with the type value set to ‘Integer’ or ‘Float’, you can configure it to automatically add a suffix.

To add a suffix to an attribute, you must be logged in as a Jira admin or have Object Schema Manager permissions. This option is only applicable to attributes with the type value set to ‘Integer’ or ‘Float’ .

  1. Select Assets in the top navigation bar.

  2. Select Object schemas.

  3. Select the relevant object schema.

  4. Select the relevant object type.

  5. Select Attributes.

  6. Select the gear icon next to the attribute and select Configure in the dropdown.

  7. Under the General tab, enter a value in the Suffix field.
