Delete a reference

Assets is included with Service Collection Paid plans (Standard, Premium, and Enterprise). What Assets is and how it works.

To delete references that apply to all schemas in Assets (called global references) you need to be logged in as an Assets admin with Jira or Jira Service Management access.

To delete references to an individual schema, you must also have Object Schema Manager permissions.

References added cannot be deleted if they are in use within your Assets instance.

Permanently delete global references

  1. From the app switcher, select Assets

  2. Select Settings () .

  3. Select Assets settings.

  4. From your settings sidebar, select Global references.

  5. Select Delete on the reference you want to remove.

  6. In the popup window, select Delete.

Permanently delete references for an individual schema

  1. From the app switcher, select Assets

  2. From your sidebar, select Schemas.

  3. Select an object schema.

  4. Select Schema settings.

  5. Under the References tab, select Delete on the reference you want to remove.

  6. In the popup window, select Delete.

 

Deleting a reference can't be undone.
