Manage subscriptions and bills for Atlassian cloud products
Get a high-level overview of billing and subscription management for Atlassian cloud products.
Billing profiles are only available for product subscriptions managed on our new billing experience.
Billing profiles help you manage subscriptions that share the same payment method and sold-to address associated with your billing account.
Each billing profile contains:
payment method
sold-to address
subscriptions that use the same payment method and sold-to address
When you first purchase an Atlassian cloud subscription, we automatically create a billing profile using your sold-to address and chosen payment method. For subsequent purchases, you have the option to select or edit this existing billing profile. Contact us if you want to create a new billing profile.
A billing account can have multiple billing profiles. For example, you may have a billing profile for each department in your organization. This way, the control is in your hands since you have the flexibility to choose the payment method and the sold-to address that will appear on the tax invoice for your subscriptions.

To view your billing profile:
Select your billing account from admin.atlassian.com/billing.
From the left menu, select Billing profiles
You’ll see a list of your billing profiles along with their associated payment method, sold-to address, and the number of subscriptions.
Alternatively, you may also access your billing profile from the Subscription details page of your product subscription.
Who can do this? |
You can change the billing profile name, payment method, and sold-to address stored in your billing profile. Your future invoices for all subscriptions in the billing profile will reflect the updated billing details.
To manage your billing profile:
Select your billing account from admin.atlassian.com/billing.
From the left menu, select Billing profiles
Find the billing profile and select Manage
On the Billing profiles detail page, select the action you want to take.
You can edit your billing profile name from the Billing profile details page.
To rename your billing profile:
Select the icon next to the current name.
Add your preferred name and Save.
Payment method: When you change your payment method, all subscriptions within your billing profile will also get updated. Going forward, you’ll be charged on this payment method.
Sold-to address: When you edit your sold-to address, all subscriptions using this address across billing profiles will also get updated.
