Buying Atlassian cloud products

We’re rolling out a new Atlassian billing engine that affects the content on this page. If the information here doesn’t match what’s in your account, see our updated instructions for billing and subscription management.

All our cloud plans start free and grow with you as your team scales. Atlassian cloud product pricing depends on the number of users who can access the product, the product plan (Standard, Premium, or Enterprise), and the type of payment (monthly or annual). Current pricing information is always available on our product pages.

We also offer cloud products at discounted pricing for eligible academic and non-profit charitable organizations.

Get started with your cloud purchase

  1. Create a cloud site at http://www.atlassian.com. The site URL that you use to create a cloud site will become your production instance after your trial ends.

  2. Go to admin.atlassian.com. Select your organization if you have more than one. As a site admin, you will have access to all billing details.

  3. Select Manage subscriptions for any one of the products.

From this screen, you can see all the details of your cloud subscription and manage your bills, users, and payments.

When you create a site, you start with a Free plan available for up to 10 users (Jira Software, Jira Work Management, Confluence) and three agents (Jira Service Management). If the number of users/agents in your Free plan exceeds, you will be automatically upgraded to a Standard plan.

You can upgrade to Standard or Premium at any time via the Manage subscriptions page.

If you want to generate a quote and pay before claiming a cloud site, please contact us to request a quote.

Moving from a Free to a Standard plan will give you a 14-day trial period. With a Premium plan, you’ll get a 30-day trial. After your trial ends, your plan will shift to a monthly subscription unless canceled.

To renew your subscription each month,

  1. Go to your site’s Administration > Billing.

  2. Select Manage subscriptions for any one of the products and go to Billing details.

  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to add credit card details or link a PayPal account.

To switch from monthly to annual payment, select Choose annual payment under Payment options. To learn how to choose your payment options, see Manage your bill for Standard and Premium plans.
