Buying Atlassian cloud apps

All our cloud plans start free, and allow you to grow as your team scales. Pricing depends on:

• the number of users who can access the app

• the app plan (Standard, Premium, or Enterprise)

• the type of payment (monthly or annual).

Current pricing information is available on our app pages. We also offer cloud apps at discounted pricing for eligible academic and non-profit charitable organizations.

Some subscriptions have a cost per user or user tier. Others include both a per-user cost and usage-based charges. For subscriptions with usage-based pricing, you'll be charged extra if you or your users exceed the included allowance. See How usage-based pricing works

Get started with your cloud purchase

Set up your cloud site

When you set up a site, you start with a Free plan.

1. Go to atlassian.com/try and find the app you want.

2. Select Try cloud.

3. Specify the site URL. You can select an existing site, or create a new site.

4. Follow the prompts to finish your setup.

Upgrade to a paid plan

Once your app is set up, you can upgrade to a paid plan. To upgrade:

1. Go to Atlassian Administration. Select your organization if you have more than one.

2. Select Billing > Manage subscriptions for any one of the apps.

3. Select Change plan. (If your subscription is on the original billing experience, the link will be Change)

We’ll ask you to provide payment details when you upgrade.

If you go over the user limit, we’ll automatically upgrade you to the Standard plan.

Moving from a Free to a Standard plan will give you a 14-day free trial period. With a Premium plan, you’ll get a 30-day trial. After your trial ends, your plan will shift to a monthly subscription unless deactivated.

Setting up a collection

When you purchase a collection subscription, you’ll be prompted to set it up on a new or existing organization. If you include any existing subscriptions in a new collection, you won’t have to set them up again.
