Manage subscriptions and bills for Atlassian cloud products
Get a high-level overview of billing and subscription management for Atlassian cloud products.
This FAQ is for all Jira products, Confluence, Statuspage, Trello, Opsgenie, Halp, and Loom. If you’re unable to make payments for other products, please contact us.
Before you’re unsubscribed from, and lose access to, the product, here are some actions we suggest you take:
We advise you to export your business data from your Atlassian instance. For more information, see our Data Storage FAQs.
This could be an option if you have a relatively small number of users or agents.
If applicable, you’ll first need to reduce users to 10 or fewer (three agents or fewer for Jira Service Management). Go to your site’s admin at admin.atlassian.com. Select the Organization and go to Manage users. Find users you want to remove, and select Show details. From there, remove the user.

Contact us to change your plan to Free.
Change to the Free plan at admin.atlassian.com. Select the Organization, go to Billing, and select Manage subscriptions. Select Change next to your plan for each product. Select the Free plan and confirm.

If you have five users or fewer, Bitbucket will downgrade to a Free plan.
If you have over five users, your access will be read-only, but you can reduce the number of users. Here’s how.
